Terms of Service

The service

DaggerHub is an unofficial, fan-made set of tools for the Daggerheart TTRPG. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Darrington Press or Critical Role. It offers character building, campaign and encounter tracking, homebrew editing, and searchable rule and SRD content.

Your account

You are responsible for what happens under your account and for keeping your sign-in details private. Tell us promptly at hello@daggerhub.com if you believe your account has been compromised, or if you want your account data deleted. We may suspend or restrict accounts to protect the service and its users.

Your content

You keep the content you create in DaggerHub, including characters, campaigns, encounters, homebrew, notes, and images. You grant DaggerHub a non-exclusive license to host, store, and display that content so the service can show it to you and people you share it with. This license only covers running the service.

Do not upload infringing, unlawful, deceptive, or malicious content, and do not use the service to harm, harass, or abuse other people. We may remove content that breaks these Terms.

Daggerheart materials

The game rules, SRD content, and other Daggerheart material on DaggerHub is used under the Daggerheart Compatible Creator License (DPCGL). Anything you add must also respect that license and any community rules Darrington Press sets. You are responsible for keeping what you publish lawful and licensed.

Plans and billing

DaggerHub is free to use. Adventurer is a paid plan that raises how many characters and homebrew items you can keep. Rules and SRD content are never paywalled; your plan only changes those capacity limits.

Adventurer is billed monthly or yearly through Paddle, our merchant of record. Paddle handles checkout, payments, subscriptions, invoices, taxes, and the billing portal. We do not see or store your full payment details. You can cancel anytime from your account; see our pricing page for the current plans.

Cancellation and refunds

You can cancel anytime from your account. Cancellation stops future charges; it does not refund the period you have already paid for. If you still have Adventurer time left, it runs to its end, then your account goes back to Free limits. Nothing you have made is deleted. Refunds are considered case by case, and the policy is on the pricing page. Any refund is issued by Paddle, our payment provider.

Changes to the service

We may add, change, or remove features of the service over time. We will try to give notice before a significant change, but the service is provided as-is and as-available.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make a material change, we will post the updated version here and note the new effective date. Continued use after that means you accept the updated Terms.

Limits to liability

DaggerHub is a fan project and comes without warranty. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses that follow indirectly from your use of the service, including lost data. You use the service at your own risk.
